As a soldier in the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, Michael’s journey took a dramatic turn 14 years ago during his deployment to Iraq when he was involved in a humvee rollover, suffering serious wounds that have left him paraplegic.

Today, Michael remains committed to outpatient care and advocates for others facing similar hardships. Now it’s time for us to support him, a fellow New Yorker.

With your help, we can give Michael the fully accessible smart home he’s been getting by without, a space designed to enhance his independence and quality of life as he continues to serve our country.
