Stoke Mandeville spinal injuries unit

Hiya for this of you that don’t know me I used to run marathons, compete in tough mudder and walk around the uk for various charities, I had an accident in march that has left me with a spinal injury and I am having to re learn basic tasks.

i have been an inpatient of the national spinal injury unit at Stoke Mandeville hospital for 6 months and have been selected by them to compete in their spianl

injury Paralympics from the 23-27th sept 24.

these guys saved my life and have given me the strength and encouragement to aid me in what is to come- although I am unsure of my future abilities they have given me so much strength and encouragement to build on what I have, it’s not only the physical side of my injury but the mental impact it has on me and my close family

the unit relies heavily on donations for new equipment and I’d love to give something back to these guys as their dedication is beyond words
