Stokes Family Relief Fund - Fire Destroyed Home

This is very difficult to write, and I'm not really sure how to start this thing. My name is James Stokes. We live in Gallipolis, Ohio. Early this morning, at about 3:30 a.m., we became victims of a house fire. We were abruptly awakened to the smell of smoke, the sound of shattering glass, and blazing fire engulfing the entire front of our house. After running through the house getting everyone out of bed and downstairs, everyone made it out safely, unharmed. To put it simply, we lost everything that we had. Everything we owned was destroyed by the fire, smoke and water. We lost all of our clothes, shoes, food, furniture, appliances, school supplies, electronics, etc, and of course, our home.

We have six little girls:

Grace, age 11

Ava, Bailey and Chelsey, triplets age 10

Camryn, age 8

Taya, age 4

This tragic event has displaced us and has caused uncertainty in every part of our lives. Our priority is to get back on our feet and find a new place that we can call home and continue raising our girls. This has been very emotionally exhausting and a difficult day to get through, and I know it will continue to be hard in the coming weeks and months. My hope and my prayer is that we can recover from this as quickly as possible so that our children can have security and be successful. Unfortunately, we did not have renter's insurance and nothing is was covered. I am asking for help from all of our immediate and extended family and friends, because it will be impossible for us to recover from this on our own.
