Stomp and Roar for Cameron's Cure

This past October, my nephew, Cameron Bruder, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. The specific gene mutation he has created a very aggressive, difficult to treat cancer. Over the past seven months, Cameron has attempted several clinical trials and T-cell Therapy. Sadly, nothing has yielded any hopeful results.

Last Sunday, after months of trying treatment after treatment, Cameron came home and was put on hospice care. CHOP doctors said they tried all they could to save Cameron’s life. My family celebrated his 3rd birthday last Monday. Having a normal birthday party for him was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do. Knowing that my nephew only had days to weeks left created a constant struggle to hold back tears.

This Saturday, my family received some hope once more. The lead oncologist at M.D. Anderson in Texas contacted my brother and said he has a chemo that he wants to try with Cameron. My brother packed up his family and caught a same day flight to begin treatment immediately.

My family has been praying for a miracle since we received the devastating news last weekend. We are asking everyone to join Cameron’s fight! Please pray for him, and pray for this treatment to actual work.
