Good Day/Aba-wath-tech & Greetings from Treaty 7 Territory located in Southern Alberta, Canada,
A collective group of Stoney/Ĩyãħé Nakoda First Nation youth and community members from Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Wesley First Nation have formed the newly established “Stoney Nakoda Girls Volleyball Team” to compete at the upcoming Alberta Indigenous Games, August 11-17, 2019. We’ll be instilling pride and representation for Stoney/Ĩyãħé Nakoda First Nation from the Treaty 7 Territory.
With your donations, securing registration for the Indigenous-led Team of $450 early registration and allowing them to participate in a healthy competition with other Albertan-based Indigenous Teams [$550 late - registration] / $7,000 Team Sponsorship/$3,000 on-reserve rental fees & Team Feast.]
