Stony Point Farm - Displaced after 40 years

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jennifer and I'm fundraising to help my friends at Stony Point Farm.

The farm has been in Leah Burge's family for 40 years and is the last undeveloped piece of land in Round Rock, TX. After Leah's father passed away in 2022, Leah has been operating the farm in partnership with her friend Jenn as a boarding facility and lesson business. Leah and Jenn have been able to build a peaceful and loyal community in the center of Round Rock built on their love of horses. This business acts as Leah and Jenn's primary incomes.

After a long and complex history with the City of Round Rock, Stony Point Farm is officially being placed under eminent domain to build a road. Leah and Jenn were given just a few weeks to relocate their livestock, equipment, fencing, and shelters. Leah also lives on property and needs to find a new place to live.

This means that Leah and Jenn no longer have a business or income. They cannot operate as they do not have land and their horses are dispersed temporarily around the state.

These funds will help with transportation for the horses to safe new places, storage and movement of farm equipment, and food and bills while they decide what is next for them.
