STOP ASIAN HATE Fund for Atlanta Victims
Donation protected
UPDATE: We have decided to fold our donation funds into the National Compassion Fund's collective fund. The families will still receive the donations. The National Compassion Fund works in close coordination with the families of the victims of shootings.
#STOPASIANHATE
In coordination with the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce (PACC DC) and Clubhouse groups FilExcellence Club and Sing Me to Sleep.
On Tuesday, March 16, 2021, a man walked into three Asian spas in the Atlanta area and shot 9 people.
Many of us woke up Wednesday morning feeling a variety of emotions: anger, confusion, empathy, pain, fear.
According to Stop AAPI Hate, nearly 3800 hate incidents were reported during the pandemic.
This GoFundMe is in memory of those who suffered yesterday and for the families who are suffering today.
But it's also for the memories of Angelo Quinto, Iona Cheng, Noel Quintana, Vicha Ratanapakdee, and all of the other members of the Asian American community, both living and deceased, that have been affected in the past year.
100% of the proceeds we raise will be donated to the families of the victims.
Their names:
