“As an animal lover, I do believe that accusations of animal mistreatment should be taken seriously, and therefore am cooperating with the authorities who are investigating this matter. However, as I know these allegations to be false, I have also retained legal counsel and am preparing to file civil suit against those individuals who have chosen to express their personal hostility against me by making defamatory and damaging statements in the public arena.”

I was doing puppy classes with a local dog trainer here in town, Roseburg Oregon. I was told that my lab is basically untrainable because she’s too spoiled, babied, stubborn and needs professional training. Was told Bear needs boarding and everyday one-on-one training. Me being incredibly naive, I agreed to this!
Bear was with Haden for 2 months. I gave Haden 2 15lb bag of dog food. Bear was maybe 6 months. I only wanted Bear to be there for 2 weeks. Which that turned into another 2 weeks, then another week. You get the picture…
It was a Hell of a time getting her back. With the trainer constantly being out of town / out of state with Bear. He knew I wanted Bear back and I believe he was onto me with “never being home.” Mind you, my bill was still going up $$$Chaaa-Ching$$$
My mom and I made arrangements to pick Bear up 2 days from that day with Haden.
((Yes my mom got involved! Momma to the rescue!!))
My mom and I were hesitant with his “sorry can’t today, out of town” bullshit he was telling us.
..MOVING ON..
I was out of town in Portland for the day at Jeramie’s nieces birthday. My mom called me crying. Her gut is telling her, something is not right. I was like SHIT Jeramie and I will back soon. She was like HELL NO I’m getting Bear back NOW.
I called a girlfriend, and my mom and her showed up at his house unannounced. Asking for Bear back. My friend knew there was gonna be tension and started recording with her phone.
My mom:
“Here’s your payment, all I want is Bear.”
Haden:
“You cannot just show up unannounced, and if you want Bear, Come back in 30 minutes.”
(((UMM WTF^^)))
Haden then threatened with the cops blah-blah!
My mom: “Call the cops, and I’m not leaving without Bear.”
Haden called me while I was in Portland to inform me he called the cops on My mom, my friend and I. LOL! The cops told me Haden could not press those charges because:
1. It was our dog
2. He TOOK the money in return for Bear
When I did get Bear back, she was deathly sick, skin and bones, infections left and right, infection in the stomach, puking blood, shaking, non-stop vomiting, pissing every-time she got up, couldn’t hold down food or water, rash on her privates.
We got Bear on a Saturday night and of course, vets was closed. We were constantly talking to the on-call emergency vet and we were able to stabilize her until Monday morning. The vet urged us to wait until Monday so the full staff will be there. The emergency vet was also in the middle of dealing with a dog who was literally almost dying.
We got booked into the vet right when they opened Monday. Bear spent a few nights there. The vet told us that this illness had to be going on for several weeks and Haden had to of known about this. Hence the Hadens out of town bullshit. The vet implied there may have been meds in her system too.
All and all the vet was incredibly helpful through this entire process with Bear. The clinic was shocked. ♥️
I was so incredibly angry. I’ve always been taught to pick and choose my battles! Messed with the wrong chic! I blew up Hadens phone. He Blamed all this on me. I continued to blow him up. He eventually told me to not contact him anymore. I’ll post the texts.
I knew the damage was already done and want a full reimbursement of the training and my vet bill. You betcha his Venmo was blowing up every 5 minutes! I’m persistent! Mind you over $4,000 that I’ve paid!
Animal control got involved and as far as we know. This has only happened to Bear.
Shortly after another situation happened with Haden. I called Animal Control and they gave me a case number. I went down to the police station and printed it out. A similar situation happened but to another dog. The dog got sepsis and almost died. The dog’s leg almost had to be amputated.
My mom and I found out there is also a 24 hour vet in Springfield
