Don’t let a foreign-owned company risk the lives of our precious wildlife and rural communities by cutting corners and destroying 2500 hectares of precious land to make space for dangerous, old tower technology to deliver the HumeLink transmission line.

The current proposal will destroy our environment.

While we support progress and the need for renewable energy to curb climate change, we must ensure that green energy considers not only generation but transmission.

Clear-felling important bushland, including the habitats of endangered species, to run transmission towers as high as the Sydney Harbour Bridge pylons surely is in stark contrast to the need for a more sustainable future.

We need these lines to be run underground for current and future generations of Australia to ensure we protect the environment and rural communities.
