Help STOP! Solar Power Plant Next to Maui Meadows

Mahalo nui loa for helping us STOP a 200-acre 49,000 PV panel utility-scale solar power plant from being located adjacent to the eastern border of Maui Meadows in Kihei, Maui.
We of the Pono Power Coalition are, of course, in favor of solar generated electricity, however a project of this industrial scale should only be built on already existing compromised industrial land - not on agricultural land, adjacent to quiet, peaceful rural residential neighborhoods. If built this would not only significant harm our community, but would also set a dangerous precedent of locating massive solar arrays adjacent to other residential neighborhoods in Hawai'i.
In order to effectively oppose this ill-conceived proposal, in the past two months:
We have learned about utility-scale PV solar installations, and all of the adverse impacts associated with these massive solar arrays (they are not "farms").
We have met with proponents from Innergex, representatives from Maui Electric and Hawaiian Electric, neighbors, Sierra Club leaders, Maui Tomorrow members, and Hawai'ian cultural practitioners.
We've circulated both a paper and online petition. (over 500 signatures so far!)
And we've made substantive comments to accompany this Purchase Power Agreement (PPA) to the Public Utilities Commission (PUC).
Our attorney comes highly recommended by local environmental groups. We are very fortunate that he is able to represent us. However unlike us, he is not willing or able to work without compensation.
