In a bit of a pickle so I thought I would give this a shot.
Rufus is a very well known cat around Lawley, Telford.
I first met him when he was sat outside my front door eating soggy paper. It was pouring down with rain so I took him in for the night and tried to find his owner. He made himself completely at home (which I later found out he will do at anyone’s house!) The next morning I managed to track down his owner and took him back home. A few weeks passed and his owner contacted me saying she was struggling to look after him so I instantly said I will have him!
I organised collecting him and a few of his things and he instantly settled in to his new home.
The next day I took him to the vets for a check up, vaccinations and a micro chip which all seemed fine.
As time passed I noticed he was sneezing quite a lot so I took him back to the vets. They started him on different medications but couldn’t work out what was wrong. By this time it was too late to insure him for his breathing problem.
A couple of years have passed and he has had numerous tests and medications to try and resolve his problem but nothing has helped.
The next option is to have an endoscopy and swabs to try and see if there is anything stuck up his nose which is going to cost just over £360.
With not having insurance, this is a large sum of money for something which is crucial in trying to help him, so I thought I would turn to his lovely fans for some help.
Any contribution would be a great help!
Thank you,
Frankie Nock
