Stop Veteran Suicide_ Mission 22 Donations
Tax deductible
In the month of November I will be raising money to donate to the Mission 22 non-profit organization. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Mission 22. I will be covering the cost of the thank you gifts as my donation to the cause. Transaction fees are automatically deducted from the donation as per GoFundMe regulations.
When a donation is made, you will automatically be considered for one of two gifts as a thank you for your donation. This GoFundMe will run from November 1st 2023 until November 30th at 11:59pm. On December 1st 2023, two names will be selected at random. If you select to donate anonymously, you will not be considered for the thank you gifts.
1st name selected will receive a $50 gift card for amazon
2nd name selected will receive one item from the Mission 22 store (value of item must be less than or equal to $25). Items can be viewed on their website: https://mission22.com/shop/all-gear
The goal of Missions 22 is to take action against Veteran suicide by providing support to Veterans and their families. Through a comprehensive approach of outreach, events, and programs, they promote long-term wellness and sustainable growth for veterans.
Mission 22 offers programs at no cost to all participants. They focus on three main pillars—Veterans, families, and community—and support them in the following ways:
1. Veterans: There proven programs help Veterans living with post traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, or military sexual trauma. They provide free, long-term programs for Veterans that focus on growth and healing.
2. Families: Healing starts at home. Their mission includes promoting wellness for the whole family.
3. Community: Mission 22’s social impact events and outreach raise awareness for their programs and provide Veterans and their families with the treatment they need.

As a Navy Veteran with diagnosed mental health disabilities, I have personally experienced the difficulties in receiving consistent mental health care, making this cause very personal for me. Unfortunately, many veterans struggle to get consistent mental health care due to a lack of resources. Organizations like Mission 22 offer free programs and resources to help get Veterans the care they need sooner. Please consider donating and sharing this link.
