Help stop the Tesco Toxic Towers

I am Andy Walker part of a team campaigning against the Tesco Toxic Towers in Goodmayes.
More than 100 residents chipped to fund a judicial review based on air quality. The campaign has called the Towers “toxic” due to some of the proposed flats having air quality filters to the seventh floor.
Our best argument was the proposed school should not have been located beside the busy polluting High Road. However, Redbridge Council, Weston Homes and the judiciary ignored this point.
Instead, the courts found that it was the wrong time to litigate about the school, saying that the appropriate time would be when the internal layout of the school would be published.
In October 2023, Redbridge Council withdrew the school for the site. Consequently, Weston Homes will be submitting a new plan for the site.
The £17,000 is for the £15,000 I have paid in costs to Weston Homes and Redbridge Council to pay plus further monies to get advice about advice on how to challenge the development again at court.
My first thoughts are climate change grounds and/or overdevelopment.
Climate change grounds failed at the Supreme Court to stop a new runway at Heathrow. Since that judgement in 2020, the climate crisis has got worse. Our argument might be that low rise building would have less steel and concrete; both of these materials are high in carbon emissions.
The Grocery Gazette reported on 2nd October 2023 that because of the climate crisis.
“Tesco has now lowered the forecasts for how much farmers will grow per hectare of land and is preparing to ask suppliers to plant more fields to maintain their output.”
My expectation is that with global emissions rising year by year it is important that we challenge Tesco at court over their irresponsible plans to build High Rise towers in a toxic location with a construction material which will add to the climate crisis. Any donation you can make no matter how small will be very welcome.
