STOP Dickson Fuel Terminal
Donation protected
OUR AIR, WATER AND THE SAFETY OF OUR CHILDREN ARE AT RISK.
WE NEED YOUR HELP to stop a massive, 17 million-gallon fuel terminal from coming to Dickson County.
The time to stop this heavy industrial terminal is NOW. There are significant environmental and health-related risks associated with this type of massive fuel facility in the form of potential fuel leakage into the watershed, soil absorption and air pollution -- just to name a few.
If you don't want Dickson exits to and from I-40 and State Highway 46 lined with fuel tankers, now is the time to pull together as a community.
PROTECT OUR AIR.
PROTECT OUR WATER.
PROTECT OUR COMMUNITIES.
Give generously. Help us reach our July fundraising goal of $15,000. Even if you're only able to donate $25, $50 or even $100 -- anything you can spare will help us protect this beautiful countryside for future generations.
If you can't donate -- join our Facebook page and share this GoFundMe account with friends and relatives (that's always free!).
How We Delegate Funds
Each dollar that you donate will be going directly to the legal battle against the proposed Dickson Fuel Terminal. There will be a small percentage of funds that are allocated to advertising and marketing -- creating yard signs, banners and other resources. As much as possible, we attempt to solicit direct donations for marketing and advertising, so all funds can be channeled to the legal battle.
The leadership and Board of Directors of the Turnbull Preservation Group (team behind Stop Dickson Fuel Terminal) are all unpaid volunteers -- many of whom are donating many hours each week of their time to protect our community. While our attorney, Waynick Law, is doing everything possible to reduce costs, we are battling a multi-billion-dollar net worth organization in Titan Partners.
A Note on GoFundMe Charges
We often receive questions on how much GoFundMe is charging in fees. As of now, here is the updated information on GoFundMe fees.

- You deserve the right to decide if you want 100 massive fuel tankers per day (each direction) driving through our community.
- You deserve the right to decide if you want your school children traveling rural country roads with these trucks every day to and from school.
- You deserve the right to decide if you want to run the risk of potential runoff into our waterways from over 17 million gallons of fuel.
Right now -- the decision is in your hands. Help us fight this invasion by donating generously today!
