Storage Crisis

My wife and I had to give up our home to the mortgage company placing extremely high refinancing charges and to top it all had to address their high interest rates.

They gave us less than two weeks to pack up and get out of the house.

We employed a local moving company who gave poor service and all they did was to supply boxes and filled them with all our personal belongings without listing each box box with their itemized contents. Good Friday night they walked away from the job, whereby, I had to scout on the internet another company to complete the job. They were the same temperament in packing and we managed to find a storage company to take it over the Easter week-end, During this time we have been living in a motel as rents are extreme as my business had a decline of work in July and August, that I have recently found a temporary job to secure our living expenses. I have managed to cover the storage charges to August as monies are running out.

To make matters worse, my wife is suffering from dementia which is worsening. Prior to this she loved her pets so much so that she had them all cremated and kept them.

All these remains and our personal belongings have no been placed on a lien and were to be auctioned off on 17 October, 2024. However I have managed to get an extension until December 1, 2024 to pay up the storage or they will auction everything.

We have no relatives or other family members in Canada to assist us in this dilemma.

The funds are to pay the storage and get them out of their possession as I have arranged to get a rental Trailer to place them in and he will store them in his yard. The monies are to help the payments of storage and the transfer cost to the trailer.
