Storage facility for Ogmore Valley Archers

Hi, we are Ogmore Valley Archers a community based archery club in Bridgend County Borough. Our ethos is to provide access to the sport of Archery to the wider community. We are known as the friendly family orientated Archery Club.

We are currently based at Brackla Sports Centre where we have being inviting people of all age groups (minimum age 8 years, no upper limit) to try our 'Have A Go' sessions however we are now setting up a new venue specifically for 'New Starters' in the Memorial Hall, Aberkenfig where people can come along the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month and book in for two taster sessions to see if they enjoy the experience. These sessions need to be booked in advance and can be booked directly one our website.

This is a new and exciting venture for the Club as we have recently lost our outdoor facility and storage due to the sale of the venue, thereon poses the problem, we need to secure a new storage facility at the new venue. For you to know, all Instructors, Committee Members and Members who assist in the day to day running of the Club are Volunteers and we are non profit making and we participate in numerous Show and Fetes in the better weather to try to raise funds for maintaining the Club equipment.

With this new venue we are having to purchase and site a large container which we need to fund. One of our Committee Members has currently loaned us the money to purchase and site this container but the loan has to be repaid, thereon, we are hoping we can appeal to anyone who has an interest in our sport or just wants to help us service the community by donating whatever you can afford, to assist us repaying the afore said Committee Member.
