Storlie Fire Fund
Donation protected
On December 11th, 2022 we (the Storlie Family) received a frantic call from a neighbor after leaving church that our shop was on fire and our precious goats were trapped inside. By the time firefighters arrived, the entire structure and all of the contents were ablaze. There was nothing salvageable. This included approximately $30,000 worth of lumber that Michael and Morgan, along with some friends, had spent all summer collecting while disassembling a neighbor's cabin which was going to be used to build a new house. Additionally, ALL of Michael's tools that he had spent his lifetime collecting were lost, valued at approximately $30,000. Various odds and ends totaled about $60,000. Like many Americans, we were GROSSLY underinsured...we are asking for any amount to help recuperate the cost to replace necessities AND are strongly urging you to review your policy with your insurance adjuster and catalog your belongings in case something devastating like this ever happens to you. This is extremely difficult for us, as we are typically the people helping out, not asking for help. We appreciate your kindness and God bless!
