Vet Bills - Stormy and Her Owner Were Hit by a Car

On Thursday March 5th 2020, Stormy and her dad, Frank, were walking in Bay Ridge near 101st and 4th avenue. A speeding driver hit both of them. Tragically, Frank, a beloved and long-term member of the Bay Ridge community, was killed. Rest In Peace Frank :( 

Stormy suffered a broken pelvis and leg, along with several lacerations. Despite these injuries, Stormy somehow made it back to her home on her own, and collapsed on the ground, outside her building. 

Stormy is being cared for at a local animal hospital. As a community, we would like to raise some money to assist Stormy's mom, Demetra, with the veterinarian bills.

During this terrible in her life, Stormy's mom could really use the support of her neighbors. She and Frank took Stormy in when she needed a home, and now we need to help Demetra in her time of need.  Please donate whatever you can, as we come together as a community to help our neighbor!
