Save Downey Stox Restaurant!

Stox restaurant has been in business and part of the community since  1962! Some of our employees have worked here their whole careers and are now without pay because of the pandemic shutdowns. All but 3 of the employees are also of the age of 55+ and will have a hard time finding work elsewhere. 

Stox Restaurant of Downey, is known throughout the community as a wonderful coffee and breakfast house where many in the area go to start their every day.  The lounge is a favorite place to go to watch sports, and enjoy and decently price beer, and the bakery has supplied tens of thousands of families with their famous pies for the holidays over the past 6 decades.  Stox is also well known for one of the locations where the 2006 movie "Smokin Aces" where stars such as Ray Liotta, Ryan Reynolds and Alicia Keys all filmed memorable scenes. 

Proceeds will go to help the employees payroll and maintain minimal operating costs to survive until we can re-open!
