Stranded by a Scam: Need a New Scooter

Hey all! I'm hoping to raise funds for a new scooter so I can traverse the city and get to and from work.

I preciously relied on my OKAI scooter I bought last year but since living by myself I find myself using it often and it simply does not have the speed or battery life to last through a day of travel (it only reaches 10mph causing cars to honk at me or try to pass me)

After my OKAI scooter's fender broke and it began running more slowly I decided to look on Facebook Marketplace for used scooter. I purchased an Unagi Scooter for $180 from a man named Jamel Jones. Little did I know there was going to be an issue with transferring ownership with Unagi and he very well may have sold me a rental scooter that is now locked because it's monthly payments have halted. Jamel deleted all of his accounts and I can not reach him via phone so I'm pretty certain I've been scammed. I'm reaching out to Unagi but per research they may not be able to do anything for me since I don't have any of the original purchase info from the initial owner/renter.

If I could afford it, I'd really like an E-Moped but they're easily over $1000. I set my goal to 1k but I'd happily be able to purchase a new reliable scooter for at least over $400.

It's incredibly cold out and I just cant take my Okai scooter out anymore due to it slowly falling apart, Septa is unreliable, and i cannot afford daily lyft and uber. I just want to continue the independence a scooter gives me to get to appointments, stores, and work as relying on rides, public transit or otherwise, has never worked in my favor before and is not sustainable for me.

Please help if you can I'd really appreciate it. I can barely break even every month let alone purchase a new scooter on my own at the moment :(
