Strawberry’s leg surgery

Our puppy Strawberry injured her leg jumping off the couch.  She has three fractures on her left hind leg, one of which is on a growth plate. Without surgery, she risks permanent lameness in her leg because she is still a growing puppy.  My partner and I have both lost our jobs and are without pay indefinitely due to COVID-19. We are asking for $7000 in total to cover her first vet visit , medication, and X-Rays which was $950 total, $230 for a consultation at the surgeon, and the rest to cover the surgery which is estimated to cost between $5000 and $8000.  Asking for money is the last thing we wanted to do but we are out of options.
