Strayer Family Home Rebuild: Sunbright, TN Tornado 2024

UPDATE: FEMA has stated there will be no assistance to the town of Sunbright, TN. We are saddened by this decision and are still working on getting my sister’s family help.

Hey there,

I'm Mariah, and I'm starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my incredible sister, Rachel. On April 2nd 2024, a devastating tornado tore through her home in Sunbright Tennessee, leaving behind a path of destruction and heartache.

My sister is one of the strongest people I know and is a wonderful wife and mother. Her and her family are now facing an uphill battle as they work to rebuild their lives from the ground up. The tornado took so much from them – a home, a car, and their sense of security.

So many kindhearted people have reached out and wanted to show their support for my sister and her family, and as Rachel's sister this has meant the world. That's why I'm setting up this account for anyone who feels compelled to show their support in this way. Every dollar raised will go directly towards helping her rebuild her home and her life.
