Thousands of innocent animals in Serbia are living a life of unimaginable suffering—abandoned, starving, and subjected to brutal conditions. Stray cats and dogs wander the streets, desperately scavenging for food, battling disease, malnutrition, and even deliberate poisoning. Some are tortured, caught in barbaric ways, and left to die alone. This is their reality. And we cannot stand by.
This September, a dedicated group of women, including Kath Logan, will embark on a rescue mission to make a difference in the lives of these helpless animals.
Kath Logan has worked in animal rescue for over 10 years with the largest and longest running animal welfare charity in the UK, managing an animal rescue center, where she has rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed thousands of abused animals.
Guided by her passion, a group of women all over the world have joined Kath in a mission to provide essential veterinary care, rescue as many animals as possible, and give them the love and safety they deserve in Serbia.
We need your help! Time is running out as the harsh Serbian winter approaches, and without shelter and medical treatment, many of these animals won’t survive. We also have the chance to rescue 25-30 cats and kittens living in squalor—each one malnourished, suffering from illnesses like cat flu and gastrointestinal problems. But we can't do it alone.
Your donations will go directly towards:
- Parasitic treatments (for cats and dogs) to protect them from deadly worms, fleas, and ticks (approx. £30 per animal).
- Veterinary care for urgent cases like those suffering from fur loss, open wounds, and severe malnutrition.
- Neutering to stop the endless cycle of stray animals (approx. £80-100 per animal).
- High-value treats to help us earn the trust of these frightened animals, many of whom have known only cruelty.
- Shelters to provide some protection from the brutal weather (£100 each).
