SAVING DOGS LIVES- COVID-19- LOCKDOWN
@robynresponds Instagram & Facebook
We are reaching out for your support to help Save & Support the Street Dogs during Covid-19! (And cats)
Currently residing in Thailand, Krabi on an unexpected extended solo trip because of the Coronavirus lockdown, it became obvious action was needed for the voiceless strays & community and so the work began and then a small volunteer team was formed “The Responders” ...
The street dogs here would usually rely on tourism as a means of survival to be fed and provide clean water but, tourism has stopped due to the lockdown.
So, they’ve lost their main resource to find food and help for basic survival. The welfare of these dog’s isn’t a high priority on this Island, which adds to the dog’s hardship.
So, since April action was needed to help these voiceless souls in their time of need.
(If they could help themselves, they would)
Sadly daily they can also be at risk of being drowned or poisoned!
They need daily food, water, medical attention re skin issues, wounds, treatments or more serious conditions requiring a trip to the animal hospital and also sterilisation to prevent further suffering on the streets.
Since starting we have supported over 130 dogs & cats and also found forever homes, the number is growing daily.
This is why we/ they need your help, to help us continue our mission to support them. Save the street dogs of Krabi during Covid-19.
