Strength and Support for Amanda

Amanda is our dear friend, daughter, sister, and colleague. She is truly one of the loveliest, kindest and most generous human beings we know. Unfortunately, Amanda was diagnosed with acute leukemia today and will be starting treatment tomorrow. Her doctors anticipate that she will be off of work for 6 to 12 months, depending on how her treatment progresses.

Amanda is also one of the (if not the) hardest working people out there! She dedicates her days to ensuring others are supported and now it is time for all of us to return the favour.

Knowing Amanda, she will likely cringe once she sees that we are raising money on her behalf, but we think that it is important for us to support her in this way so that she has one less thing to worry about. That way her entire focus can be on getting better and ensuring that her physical, mental and spiritual well-being is doing as well as it can through what we know will be extremely challenging, but not insurmountable, times ahead.
