Strength in Community! Let's help Tim and Lisa!!

Hello friends and community supporters!

Let me introduce myself. My name is Mary Altman and I have set up this Go-Fund-Me page for Tim and Lisa Ortiz.

I know how caring and supportive friends, family and this community can be so I'm reaching out to ask for help for them in their time of need.

Some of you may, or may not know Tim, so I'd like to give you a little history on why it is they need our help.

Tim, a truly selfless and kindhearted individual, has shown so much strength over the past few years. He has been through multiple surgeries to try and fix the issues he is having with his heart. This has led to a rollercoaster of hospital stays, medical bills, and countless trips back and forth to doctors and hospitals. Through it all, Tim has remained an inspiration to family, doctors and anyone else who knows him with his will to fight through all the hardships and still keep a positive outlook and put others first before himself.

Now it's our turn to come together and lend a helping hand! I've started this gofundme campaign not only to lighten their medical bills that have piled up over the past couple of years, but also to help with transportation expenses due to Tim's upcoming heart surgery. This time it is a full open heart so it is going to require Lisa to take more time off of work to be with Tim throughout his recovery. By chipping in, you'll be helping with the financial burden that many of us know comes with multiple surgeries, doctor visits and prescriptions that are needed. Any help we can give them will allow them both to focus on Tim's healing after the surgery and hopefully ease their financial burden.

It doesn't matter if you can only spare a few bucks, or can donate a larger amount-every single contribution makes a difference. Let's show Tim and Lisa that their incredible kindness has not gone unnoticed. They deserve all the support and love we can give!
