#Madisonstrong: On Saturday, December 28 the Cleveland family received the worst news they could imagine. Madison, their eldest had been diagnosed with Cancer. She had been taken to the doctor by her dad in Seattle with suspected flu, but after running some blood tests it was determined that she in fact had Leukemia. She was admitted to Children’s Hospital in Seattle to get started right away with treatment. Her results showed that she had type B Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL), which while for leukemia is one of the most treatable and curable cancers for kids, required an intense battle ahead. As you can imagine, an unexpected disease like this turns a families world upside down. Madison went into remission in spring 2020, and was doing fantastic. In August 2020, Madison fell victim to a rare disorder whereby her body began rejecting platelets, and suffered a severe stroke. She passed away August 26. This fundraiser was established to help the Cleveland family offset the unexpected expenses incurred from Madison’s journey. Anything you can do to assist is greatly appreciated. Please help raise donations by spreading the word to your family and friends, and thank you in advance for any donations. Follow Madisons story on facebook at www.facebook.com/StrengthForMadison.
