Strikers Fox Valley Cares
Donation protected
Hello Strikers Families,
On Friday, March 27, Governor Pritzker extended the stay-at-home order in Illinois until the end of April. This is certainly an unprecedented journey for all of our families. At Strikers, we have always stepped up to support those in need, both within our Strikers family as well as within the community at large. As President of our club I’ve witnessed the generosity of so many of our members over the years. I’m asking you to join me to help and support those in need.
These remarkable times affect us all differently, and our community needs us now. As our Strikers family continues to grow, our need to support others grows as well. Therefore,
Strikers Fox Valley is creating a GoFundMe page to support our Strikers families in need, as well as our neighboring communities. I would personally like to reach out to families who have been negatively affected by this horrific virus. Meaning, any family that has experienced a loss of income, those working on the front lines, or quarantined.
At Strikers we care for all, whether participating in our club or not. Those we hope to support include:
Strikers families
Health care providers
First responders - police and firefighters
Food banks
Local Shelters
While we know we may not be able to help all on our list, I am confident our Strikers family can come together to help as many as we are able. Any donations help, but please do not feel obligated to donate – we are aware that many are facing difficult times. We will communicate and share how the donations are being used. If your family has been directly impacted or you are aware of a Strikers family impacted, please reach out to [email redacted]
Please visit our GoFundMe page at https://www.gofundme.com/f/strikers-fox-valley-cares
Thank you for continuing to shelter at home, and please stay safe and healthy.
We hope to see everyone on the field soon.
