Strive Community Services Renovation Project

We're thrilled to share our progress in support of Strive Community Services Inc. Our mission to renovate a termite ravaged cabin into a fully serviced carer's respite cottage is well underway. Removal of old fixtures and confining walls have been completed; and we appreciate the incredible generosity of local businesses donating plumbing and electrical materials, tiling and flooring supplies to the value of $22,000. Not to mention the in-kind volunteer hours contributed by the local community. We're now reaching out to rally the $13,925 funds needed for plumbers and electricians to install these donated materials, and bring this vital renovation to life. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact.

Strive Community Services Inc. is dedicated to providing educational, social, and recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Their farm-stay respite offers a haven for individuals and families to relax while dedicated support workers attend to their needs. Additionally, they operate the Landsdale Farm Sustainability Education Centre, enriching the lives of students, people with disabilities, and the broader community through experiential education and recreation.
