Jose's road to recovery

Donation protected
In December, while at work, Jose suffered a debilitating stroke. His road to recovery has, and will continue to be, long and difficult. Jose is one of the strongest, hard-working, and loyal people I have ever met. He has dedicated himself to recovering from such a traumatic medical emergency. In his current condition, he cannot work and his financial stability is in limbo. Jose has medical needs that will continue and we would love to come together and provide him with stability as he recovers.

Jose came on board at Southwest Diner at the beginning of our journey and has been the backbone of our establishment ever since. If you have dined with us then you have hopefully enjoyed many dishes prepared by Jose. His knife skills and work ethic were unmatched. Year after year, he opened the restaurant before the sun came up and never missed his morning coffee and afternoon Corona. I miss our "Corona time". He has the best sense of humor and is a joy to call our work family. There wasn't a day that we were open that he wasn't running circles to make the magic happen.

Please contribute if you are able and share away as he is one of the most deserving people I know of love and support. He has worked his whole life tirelessly and now his caretakers need support in caring for him as it is a full-time job.
