Stroke recovery for my brother Bob Holt

Hello everyone,
I wanted to post an update on the go fund me for my brother Robert Holt. He is released to go back to work and has returned, it is slow but steady. His job is providing help for him when he needs it. He has come home a few times due to not feeling well, we are working on getting his diabetic medication figured out with his eating and it is going well. He still has facial numbness and finger numbness. He works everyday with his exercises and chews on the other side of his face so he doesn't bite his cheek and tongue and so he can eat something more than soup and mashed banana and oatmeal. We are so very thankful to everyone who donated and sent their well wishes. I am praying that this progress will continue and he will get more relief. He has his doctor visits scheduled and has lost a significant amount of weight, although that was not an big issue when all this began. I am doing all I can to keep his daily routines going. His hospital and copayments and doctor visit bills are getting paid each week and I will continue that until they are taken care of. When I can I will pay forward what I can to help others. God Bless you all.

Hello, my name is Kathy McCracken. I am starting this for my brother Bob Holt. He suffered a stroke in 2021 after he had covid and then December 2023 a second stroke, this one being worse than the first one. His left hand has been affected and he has had limited use of it. He has therapy going on and has some instruments to use at home to help facilitate his recovery. In my opinion he is progressing and doing better daily.
Well now... the bills have started coming from December 2023, hospital bills and prescriptions. This being 2024 and him having ongoing doctor and therapy appointments and even more prescriptions, and the co pays of $ 60.00 each are hitting hard. He found out in the hospital that he is diabetic. Now he is on insulin 4 times daily. Three shots during the day, one before each meal and one that is 18 units at night. He is out of work until approximately March and that is if all goes well and he can get cleared from his physical therapy and occupational therapy. He is waiting for disability but in the meantime each doctor wants their copays and the prescriptions have to be filled so I am helping all I can. I have had to put payments on my credit card because I do not have the cash to help him. The interest will soon be added on. I am already on permanent disability and have been having my own issues. We live together so housing is not an issue for him. His regular monthly bills are coming in and I have to handle them also. His disability payment will not cover all that has to be paid. He needs some help to cover these. If anyone can help I would appreciate it for his benefit. He has been through a lot and there is a lot he cannot do at this time, things like tying his shoes, zippering and buttoning his clothes, cutting up food, and driving. Sometimes the things we do every day seem insignificant... until you can't do them and when you realize that, it hits you hard. He says its like he put his left hand in his pocket and it is permanently there because he has problems using that hand, his fingers won't work right. I will do anything I can to help him as he would do for me. He just needs some help getting these bills under control. Please, every little bit can help get the bills caught up. I dont know how much all the bills will eventually amount to but I do know they will be high. I am estimating close to $ 7,500 and I pray nothing else happens to him. His health insurance will not pay anything significant now because he has not met his deductible for 2024 yet. Right now I have a payment plan set up for each final bill that has come in from 2023 and each one gets 10 dollars a week. It may not be what they want but it is what they will have to do with until everything is paid off. I did try to take a picture of him but for some reason it is not showing up right. I will take another one and get it posted. I can take copies of the bills if they are needed as the new ones come in. He really will appreciate any help possible.
