On March 11th, dad was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer affecting the bile ducts. The following day, we learned it has metastasized to his liver, lungs, and around his celiac plexus. His prognosis is poor, but he’s tough as nails and we’re going to fight. Given how rare and wide-spread his cancer is, we’re seeking experts in the field from Johns Hopkins Hospital in order to give dad the best chance at beating this.

This is going to be a difficult journey that will prohibit dad from working, something he’s always loved. But our focus must be fully on his healing and beating this disease by any means possible, and through any treatment possible.

Dad is the greatest man I’ve ever known. He’s my hero. Those that know him know how wonderful he is, and that he’d truly give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. Those that know him also know he’s never been one to ask for help. This request for help comes from his family.

We are so grateful to everyone who has reached out and stopped by to share their love and support for dad. He is the rock, or “Stone” of our family, and getting to witness his realization of how truly loved he is by so many has been such a gift. The outpouring of love has been overwhelming in the most incredible way. Thank you for considering helping us in this way so we can fight and beat his cancer. God knows he’s so deserving.
