Stronger than cancer

My two young daughters should know that everything is possible
– even though their father has deadly brain cancer …
Will you help me show them – AND at the same time support cancer research?
In October 2016 I was diagnosed and had surgery for a brain tumour. Lots of thoughts ran through my head lying in the hospital bed. First of all: Would my two beloved daughters at 9 and 12 years of age now loose their father? It was an unbearable thought. Especially since they lost their grandfather 6 years ago to the same kind of cancer …
So I decided to show my daughters that despite my brain tumour I’m still their strong, committed father. I started training for long distance runs. And in October I will run The New York Marathon. BUT tickets are extremely hard to get. So the only way it is possible for me to go – having my precious daughters with me – is by going as a Gold Charity Runner.
This means that I have now committed myself to collect at least 7.500 $ to brain cancer research. And I hope you will help me make it all work out!
Help me fight cancer as a NY-runner – and give my daughters a loving memory to live by
It is all about my girls that I’m now running like some kind of Forrest Gump. I want to fill them with love and strength, and inspire them to live their lives to the fullest – even when I’m not around anymore. And I believe this is what they will take with them seeing me run.
So, dear you, please give your support and …
1. Help my loving daughters’ come see me run in New York:
Give your support to their trip (plane tickets and accommodation) >>
And/or if you feel like contributing to
help prevent other children from loosing their parents to cancer:
Give your support to Memorial Sloan Kettering’s brain cancer research >>
All amounts are more than welcome – thank you so much!!
With love and deep gratitude
