Stronger than cancer. Dawns battle: Deans Future

I want to start out introducing my beautiful sister. Dawn is the most caring and compassionate human beings, I am lucky to call her my sister. During the most special moment of her life, Dawn was stricken with terrible news. She was due to give birth to her amazing baby boy Dean any day when something didn’t feel just right.

10/19/23 Dawn had her first ultrasound

10/20/23 Baby boy Dean was born.

Dean is a blessing in more ways than one, not only is he the most perfect baby boy but while at the hospital my sister received the medical attention she needed by one very special nurse. This wet nurse saw what my sister was going through and made sure she was seen by the right staff and put her in the right hands. With this nurses support my sister was rushed to a breast specialist where they immediately biopsied her.

On 10/27/23 we were given her official diagnosis. My sister has aggressive stage3 HER2 positive breast cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes.

This is scary news to anyone in this situation, for my sister and I we lost our mother to cancer when we were just 4 and 8. I know that my sister will kick cancers ASS, I know she will remain as positive as she can through it all, and she will still be the very best mom through it all because that is just who she is.

This journey is going to be long and filled with scary days and nights with chemo, surgery, and radiation. There will also be joy as she gets to spend time with her precious baby boy. CANCER sucks but Deans momma is a FIGHTER.

My sister is beyond grateful for the love and support she has already received. She was blessed with not only the most precious baby boy, but the most amazing husband as well.

This fund is set up to help them through this tough time, medical bills, help with a newborn, paying house bills, giving my sister the opportunity to take some time off when she needs to recover.
