Struck by a drunk minor

Hi my name is Guadalupe , this is her daughter doing the go fund me for her , I will post the news article here so y’all can see more in details of what occurred last night.

On May 28 , 8 of my family members were involved in a tragic car accident in ⭐️ when a 18 year old drunk driver drove in the wrong lane smashing their car going off the road and they all had trouble getting out of the car that a lady had to drag everybody one by one but no luck so the cops had to come and EMS and they had to remove my moms car roof and the door to get everyone out.

sanjuana Escalante ( mother)her husband, ⭐️, their 4 m children ⭐️ All under the age of 18 were all in the car at the time on the way to her house ⭐️ Sanjuana was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Grandma( husbands mom ) was informed of needing multiple surgeries. Sanjuana was informed she had a fractured Femur (⭐️⭐️⭐️ Broken arm , her spleen was bleeding , her husband had a head injury with no current medical treatment update.

Needless to say, this has been a horrific event for our family.

UPDATE **. Sanjuana had a successful surgery but unfortunately her hemoglobin is low so they sedated her , keeping her on blood transfusions and she has internal bleeding that unfortunately no one knows where it’s coming from till tomorrow.

update as of 01/16/2024 it’s been almost a year and unfortunately no lawyers are able to help her , they all say the same thing that even though my mom had full coverage , she didn’t have uninsured motorists or personal injury protection so they have no way of even making a case. They all pretty much told her the same thing that no one will be able to help due to the insurance issue. Her left arm has limited mobility , she’s learning how to walk again , she used to work 2 jobs and now is unable to work for longer than expected due to her injuries. She might need 2 more surgeries , as a daughter seeing her mom go through this is so so heartbreaking especially knowing she was not at fault at all and now has to deal with the burden and after math of this traumatic event.
