Struggling Family Needs Help Through Unemployment

Hello folks, my name is Sydney and I am a trans woman living in Austin Texas with my nonbinary partner Star and our 8-year-old child Max. We're in dire need of financial assistance to pay many of our bills that we are behind on due to unemployment, including medical bills. Additionally, we need support for our expenses while I continue to look for a job.

Late last year I was laid off from my job doing software support for Home Health and Hospice agencies. Unfortunately, despite ongoing searches and applications, I have yet to land a new one. I am needing to acquire a work-from-home job and understandably the market is flooded with applicants seeking this arrangement so it's been difficult to obtain. I was able to get on unemployment, however, it has now run out and the state will not approve an extension nor have they approved for enough through SNAP benefits.

Throughout this period of unemployment, while managing to do what we can to survive and stay housed, we have accrued debt on our various bills as the unemployment benefits were not enough to consistently support our family and now our car is needing to get repairs done as well as an aging cat in need of veterinary care due to hyperthyroidism. Truly it has been one thing after another. It is important to be able to pay off and maintain these bills to avoid the discontinuation of important services like electricity, phone, internet, insurance, inability to use/repossession of our vehicle, or any of these bills going to collections. Furthermore, being able to reliably afford our rent to remain housed, and groceries to feed ourselves as I continue to seek employment.

With your help, we'll be able to pay up on our important bills and other needs to survive for ourselves including our beloved family cat. We have a single car that is shared which as mentioned is currently needing to be estimated and repairs done. This can take an indeterminable amount of time and forces us to find other ways of transportation in the meantime that are less reliable and are limiting for us.
