Struggling family-we are so close to being OK!

Hi. I am a newly single mother of 2 great kids. We are trying as a family to get back on track financially after my partner and I split up. I was also in school from October to March taking a course to better my career options with BC ferries. In March I had to come up 2 months rent. My friend and family thankfully helped all they could. I now have personal debt added to the bills. My son had some issues that forced me to leave my job to be home more . Today I can report my son is doing well. My daughter is looking for work to help with rent. I have found a couple part time jobs and very hopeful that I will have full time before month end. My landlord has been so gracious at working with me so far. However, their patience has run out and they of course have bills to pay. I have only paid 1000 of my 2800 rent for May. Yesterday I was served with a 10 day eviction notice. I have until Monday May 22 to pay the balance of 1800 or I have to get out. I moved my family out here 4 years ago for a better life. My son and daughter are thriving. I also foster animals with a local rescue group. I try very hard to help out when and however I can. But now I am out of options. I have rent and a phone bill and a hydro payment to make or things get cut off and we lose our beautiful home in east sooke. We planned to stay a lifetime. My family and closest friends are tapped out from helping and I don’t know what else to do. I have sold everything of value already.

Any money received will go directly to my landlord until it is paid. Anything else will go to the bills I owe.

we are so close to being self sufficient. We just need a break. We need to not be homeless.
