Links are duplicates. This is what Joey posted on his social media. I wanted to include this because this is the kind of love Joey had for classic cars.
I NEVER thought I'd have to write about this, but Thursday afternoon, 11/2/23, brought a heartbreaking loss to our family with the passing of my son, Joey, who died instantly after being struck by a train from behind in Sedalia, Colorado.
He was only 16 yrs old.
He loved online gaming, long distance bike rides and walks, as well as cars and was quite the audio-head. This trauma has left a terrible hole in our family, as he was the light of our lives. He enjoyed life and had hopes and dreams. He is a fantastic kid.
We are at a loss and don’t know where to go from here. While we wait for answers, we are faced with the difficulty of paying the mortgage and utilities and paying for cremation. There has been no help from family.
The loss of my child has been a horrific time for us and we could use some help to make sure his soul finds peace as well as keep our house since we will be out of work learning how to deal with the passing of a son, brother, uncle, and true friend.
I want to thank every one of you who helps or has helped us in our time of need, we truly appreciate it. Never realized how much I’d come to depend on the help of others to survive.
Thank you SO MUCH to all of those who have shared Joey’s link and/or continuing to share it. This may seem like a small gesture but it has the biggest impact. If anyone wants the to find this, they can type Joey, Castle Rock in the search bar.
