Stryker’s 2nd surgery and Physical Therapy needs

Hello my name is Caryssa,

I am setting up this fundraiser for our fur baby Stryker. A couple weeks ago he was injured outside while going about his routine exploring adventure. My partner and I woke up to screaming/yelping. We looked outside and found him lying on the ground panting and unable to get up. We outside and he gets up and has no balance/falling over. We rushed him to the Emergency clinic and X-rays showed that part of his spine in his neck collapsed and was pinching his spinal cord. We were rushed to Purdue Lafayette where emergency surgery was performed. ($9,000). Stryker was given an MRI and a tumor was found on his spleen. Cancer…unfortunately both surgeries could not be performed at the same time so he will not be able to have the tumor/spleen removed for a couple weeks. I know to many you will say it’s just a dog…why spend so much money. Our dogs are family. I have no kids and these are my children and will do all I can to make sure they live long, healthy, happy lives.

I am reaching out to help relieve some of the huge expense as this surgery will cost thousands more on top of the physical therapy he will need a while after his spinal surgery. He is learning to walk again. Anything you can donate is much appreciated and I thank you.
