Support the Hume family through unimaginable loss!

The Hume family has suffered an unimaginable tragedy, losing both father and son within a week of each other after a heartbreaking turn of events.

This devastating loss follows the passing of Stuart’s father, Lindsay, just one week prior. Grieving the loss of his father, Stuart had requested to see and speak with his cousin—also incarcerated at Casuarina Prison—for comfort and support. Sadly, his request was denied.

On March 3, 2025, Stuart was found unresponsive in his cell at Casuarina Prison following a suicide attempt. Despite immediate medical intervention, he was tragically declared brain dead. After days of heartbreak, the family made the painful decision to turn off his life support, saying their final goodbyes on March 7, 2025.

Now, the family faces the unimaginable task of laying both father and son to rest on the same day. The emotional and financial burden is overwhelming.
