Stud Muffin’s New Car Fund

As most of you know, this #1 STUD MUFFIN retired 2 weeks ago from his service at the Jackson Rancheria Gas Station!! Because of the good hearted hardworking community guy that he is, he wasted no time finding a way to continue giving back to the community and he’s now a volunteer at the Food Bank in Jackson m…he has even grander ideas of volunteering at the Senior Center, Meals on Wheels and wherever else he can lend a hand….

With that being said, our buddy Leland’s car decided it’s tired and needed some attention today…after a quick diagnosis by the great guys at Sterling Automotive, they were able to patch up Big Green for the time being, but the long term prognosis is that the cars days are numbered…. As news travels fast in this amazing community of ours, I was approached by two different community members (that wish to remain anonymous) about donating money toward a newer used car for Leland….they have generously agreed to match up to $10,000 combined to make this purchase happen….I’m overwhelmed by their generosity and the idea of doing something this big for our friend/brother Leland Ruddock…

This is the part where we need the rest of our community to get involved… after making some calls and checking into a few things, if we can raise $10,000 on this GoFundMe and have our anonymous donors match that, we’ll have enough money to purchase a reliable safe car and pay for a years worth of insurance for Leland…..we all know that being retired on a fixed income is already a big change and transition to adjust to…if we can eliminate this burden for him, we’d like to make it happen…. Please think about all this guy does for the community, friends and family that live here in the County… and please find it within your hearts to donate whatever you can to help make this gift of a newer safer car happen….. thank you so much!!!
