Master's degree fund for UCL

My name is Lucy and I have created this Gofundme as of Summer 2023 to assist with the funding of my Master’s degree in UCL. I am studying the MSc Dementia.

During the course, I will be looking into research, causes of the syndrome and treatment options. From this, I hope to gain further insight into the condition that will enable me to contribute to dementia research in my future career. Through my undergraduate degree in Neuroscience, I have had the opportunity to complete some research into the cause and progression of Alzheimer’s disease. This has proven to me that the field of cognitive decline is an area of research that I will enjoy being a part of and having started my studies at UCL, I am seeing just how valuable dementia is first-hand.

Besides my career, dementia is a condition that I have witnessed first-hand. In addition to this, I have seen the impact it can have not only on the person experiencing the condition but on the family and friends of those with the condition too. By participating in this master’s degree, I will gain the knowledge needed for a research career from one of the most reputable universities for Neuroscience and hopefully, I can give some relief to dementia patients as well as their families and friends through this.
