Student-Driven COVID-19 Study

We are three Indiana public high school students starting our scientific journey with a study of COVID-19 within our school system. We want to help our community understand how many of our staff have been exposed to COVID-19, and how the virus has spread throughout the school during the past year. Our first round of testing told us who was infected before school started; very importantly, this next round of testing will tell us how the virus has spread within our school. Hopefully, it will provide insight for similar school systems across America. Unfortunately, funding for the second trial of the study has fallen through, but we still want the opportunity to help our community. Please, help us see this study through to the end so that we can contribute to our community through this one-of-a-kind learning experience and scientific project.
