Assalamu alaykum,
We have the opportunity to reflect on our blessings and give back to those in need. One of the most pressing issues facing many communities around the world is the lack of access to clean water. This Ramadan, we are raising funds to build a water well for this underprivileged community that lacks access to this basic necessity.
The residents of Qari Amar's village hail from the mountains surrounding the city of Oujda. Unfortunately, these individuals lead difficult and melancholic lives. Many students in this area are orphans who devote themselves to studying their faith, while numerous widows struggle to raise their children alone. This region suffers from an acute shortage of resources, including the basic necessity of water. In light of these challenging circumstances, we firmly believe that constructing a well could be a crucial initial step in enabling these vulnerable individuals to flourish.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The best form of charity is giving someone water to drink." (Sunan Ibn Majah 3684)
This hadith highlights the importance of providing access to clean water as an act of charity in Islam. Lack of clean water can have devastating effects on health and livelihoods, particularly in impoverished communities. By donating to this cause, you can make a real difference in the lives of those who are struggling to meet this basic need.
Your donation will go towards building a well that will provide a sustainable source of clean water for these students and the surrounding community. This will not only help prevent disease and improve health outcomes, but also allow individuals to focus on other aspects of their lives such as education, work, and community development.
Let us come together as a community during this holy month of Ramadan and help provide this essential resource to those in need. May Allah (SWT) bless your generosity and efforts to make a positive impact in the world.
