Help me study for a semester in Melbourne

Hi there!

My name is Adomas. I'm 22, from Vilnius, Lithuania, and I'm currently studying psychology at the University of Melbourne on an exchange program. I'm really excited about the opportunities and quality of education here, but things are much more expensive here compared to back home. I'd like to ask for your support to help me out with my living expenses while I'm here - rent, food, textbooks, seminars, and extra-curricular activities. I'm staying in Melbourne until November and would love to completely focus my time on my studies and the wonderful learning opportunities that this city and university have to offer.

A little background info: I was born into a family of musicians, and from age six I attended the National School of the Arts in Vilnius. It's a school set up to train professional musicians from a young age. After graduation, I entered the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and studied composition. I composed quite a few pieces - especially for piano, which is my own instrument. However, after a couple of years, I started to feel like I should take a different direction. I changed my major completely and switched to a psychology degree.

I'm especially fascinated by the fusion of my two specialties: music psychology. This is something that's not possible to study in Vilnius, my hometown,

but in Melbourne, I'll be able to really go deep into this subject. I'm really interested in how music and music therapy affects people from biobehavioral and neuropsychology perspectives, and I'm looking forward to being able to help people after my studies.
