Kindly Help Make Studies at Moody Bible Institute A Success

Hello,

My name is Emmanuel Elisha Zahoro, a young adult Christian with a passion for Christ.

I have been a follower of Christ for 23 years (born in a Christian family and personally came to know Christ) and walked in the light ever since I was saved. I spent my years as a mission child (child to a father and mother who were missionaries) and grew to serve in Christ’s Kingdom through missions with people and organizations, such as e3 Partners Tanzania for close to five years now. I have been ministering as an interpreter, a translator and a leader, coordinating mission trips and evangelizing, reaching the unreached in Tanzania. God has spoken to me and made it clear that He wants me to serve in His Kingdom and who I’m I to say no? To God be the glory for everything He is doing in my life.

Through a friend, whom I met in one of the mission trips, God brought Moody Bible Institute (MBI) to my attention. I applied and was accepted, hallelujah. I acknowledge Him because through prayers from friends and family, God has indeed been with me (Immanuel). Romans 8:28, all things have worked together for good. It is a testimony that, whenever I testify, chills run down my spine in wonder of how nothing is impossible with God.

Save for equipping me with knowledge and skills on evangelism and leadership, MBI will also provide solid ground and turbo charge on different ways to overcome challenges that I currently face when taking the gospel to the most interior, remote and sometimes dangerous areas. In some areas for instance, the gospel is not spread but there are Christians present in the areas, fear of persecution? Only to realize that we can equip and train the locals to reach their locals through ways such as discipleship groups till non-believers become strong disciple-making Christians, a chain of responsible individuals. MBI therefore will add great value to me as a student, an ambassador of Christ and a servant of the Most High.

I share my Moody Bible Institute journey with my friends so as to join hands in praying for this. I also share with them how much is required for the duration. As I am still working on some requirements so as to start the semester this Fall, August 29th, I have to admit that I need prayers, financial assistance and more prayers.

Below are the financial requirements that I may need assistance in. Anything that a friend, or a friend to a friend is touched with and feels led to help with, will highly be appreciated and may God fill your baskets;

How the Funds will be Helpful

On-campus students enjoy scholarship programs at Moody Bible Institute, and thanks to the Almighty, I'll be living on campus. We are however required to cover the below listed costs;

• Books, transportation, annual health insurance and personal expenses $7,301(per year)

• Meals $5,970 (per year)

• University fees $2,588 (per year)

• Room (double occupancy) $7,580

Total= 23,259 (per year)
