Study Stations

My husband, Chris and I are teachers at a Title I school in northern Virginia.  We were inspired by a Maryland couple who were building desks for students in their community.  With inspiration, we started our Study Stations  project to ensure the students from our school had a quiet workspace to learn virtually this fall.  Students in need of a desk are able to pick what color desk they would like and if they would prefer the desk to have a dry erase top for learning.  We have been able to bless our school with approximately 40 desks (and counting).  The next step is to start helping our neighboring schools, but we cannot do this without financial support. It costs about $30 to build a desk.  Every penny gets used to buy the supplies to provide personalized desks for our students! Thank you for your help.
