Stutz Family Support
Donation protected
Damien, Carmen and their 3 young children Mia (7), Zoe (6) and Abi (3) are asking for your help.
On December 19th 2023 Damien learned that he has Oesophageal Cancer (adenocarcinoma). After further scopes and scans, on January 11th 2024 they were told it is Stage 4 cancer spreading to heart and lungs. Devastatingly his cancer is inoperable and incurable, with a life expectancy of 12-16 months.
As you can imagine both Damien and Carmen are completely shattered and are trying to come to terms with this news and now prepare for what their life will look like.
Damien has spent a considerable amount of time in hospital where he has endured two heart procedures including AF ablations and pericardial window, he also had shock therapy done, he has had 3 drains in his chest for weeks and has already had 1 round of chemotherapy. Damien will have chemo fortnightly for 3 days indefinitely.
With his inability to return to work funds are limited and the bills are starting to come in.
Our aim is to keep the roof above their heads so Damien can spend his time with his family without having to worry.
The family would appreciate your support by donating, no matter how big or small that may be it will go a long way for them to spend as much time together and make beautiful memories with their young girls.
We understand times are tough for everybody right now so if you can’t donate could you please share this post with your family and friends.
The family has also asked for anyone with uncontrolled heartburn to get checked out by their doctor as this is the main symptom of the cancer Damien is currently battling.
Thank you.
