In Memory of Autumn Lee Stone
Donation protected
On August 30th, 2019 our beloved Autumn Lee Stone was taken from us all too soon, and not by her own hand.
Autumn was found unresponsive and was pulled from Green Lake in Seattle, WA around 4:15PM. She was found with a shoelace tied around her neck, she was asphyxiated and had no water in her lungs or stomach.
4 months after learning of her death and waiting for answers, after being told her case was inactive due to lack of evidence by Seattle Police Department, we received her autopsy report that tells us prior to her death, DNA was found on her body. The detectives will not answer any questions, phone calls or emails giving us any information regarding the DNA found on her body, who it belongs to or anything further.
At the tender age of 23, Autumn left behind two sons, Ages 3 years old and 5 weeks old. Before her passing Autumn was dealing with the news that someone had physically abused her 5 week old son, who had to be resuscitated twice, according to Seattle Children's Hospital, leaving him recovering from severe brain swelling, seizures and other damage. Autumn had canceled her wedding to tend to him, was ripped away from him and was unable to see him. She proceeded to fight everyday trying to be able to hold her sweet baby again, and 9 days later her life was taken all too soon.
I want justice for my sweet sister and for my two beautiful nephews who now have to grow up without their mother.
We have reached out to a Private Investigator who says he already believes there is a case and is currently doing further research. There are cameras in businesses surrounding Green Lake, cameras on bridges and street lights and cameras on public transportation. With little to no help from the S.P.D. we are taking matters into our own hands for her sake and the boys' sake.
Our PI has been amazing! He is working hard to get answers and justice for Autumn. We are so greatful and thankful for all the support. But there are more people to talk to and reach out to to find the answers we need. The truth is out there please continue to help us find it. Again thank you for all for your love and support to get Justice for Autumn her boys and her family!
The initial fee for a Private investigator is $2,500 - $5,000 and they charge $95/hour and total fee could end up being significant.
Please help us relieve some of the added stress our family is facing through this very difficult time. Every dollar counts and I know it would mean the world to our entire family if you could help in any way.
Autumn was a ray of sunshine to everyone who knew her. Her beautiful smile and kind heart made her a friend to all. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
**please note the following donations will go directly to a savings account that was set up by Autumn's Father and Autumn. Any additional expenses that doesn't go towards the Private Investigator or Legal Fees will go into college funds for her two beautiful sons.
