Joel's fight against cancer

This campaign was created to show hope and support for our dear friend and family member, Joel Olson. Joel was recently diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer that has spread to his lymphs and abdomen. He is currently exploring every avenue available to him as far as treatment options and has traveled to several well-known cancer hospitals for the best opinions and advice.


It goes without saying that Joel is an amazing person, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Everyone who knows Joel knows that he’s the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back without so much as a second thought. Now it is our turn to help him. The reason for this campaign is to give Joel the opportunity to see how much he means to all of us. To show him we are in his corner and here to support him. It is our hope that by raising money we can ease some of the financial burden associated with medical treatment (especially extensive medical treatment!). Let’s help Joel to be able to fight his battle without any financial worries and give him the ability to pay for the best possible medical treatment available.
